On September 24th, 2023, Twitter user Gummi_Bunnie^[1] posted the results for "3 person group poses* they'd received from a drawing reference app, laughing that the first two examples showed a trio making a friendly pose and two people beating a third with pillows. The tweet gained over 8,100 retweets, 40,000 likes, and 1,800 quote-tweets in one day (shown below).

The post quickly inspired users to redraw the image with pop culture characters who fit the dynamics displayed in the two "three person group pose" images. For example, on September 26th, 2023, user @mai_beloved^[2] redrew the template with Kingdom Hearts characters, gaining over 1,700 retweets and 5,300 likes in one day (shown below, left). The same day, user @gorofied^[3] posted an example with Blue Lock characters, gaining over 120 retweets and 330 likes in one day (shown below, right).
