On June 6th, 2020, Twitter user @SkoochLoL[1] tweeted a picture of himself lying awake next to his girlfriend with the caption, "Ah yes. Me. My girlfriend. And her 500 dollar four foot tall mareep." The tweet gained over 79,000 retweets and 592,000 likes in two days (shown below).

Between this, the Abby Chokes edits and the Sailor Moon Redraws, I can safely say we're in a phase of resurgence of the redraw memes. Good thing, too, the eternal Reaction Image memes from Reddit were getting really tiresome.
