About
The Turbo Encabulator is a running joke in the engineering community, which later became a copypasta and phrasal template used in several viral online videos on YouTube.
Origin
The earliest known article of the Turbo Encabulator was written by John Hellins Quick in 1944 and was published in the Institution of Electrical Engineers Students’ Quarterly Journal.[1] In the late 1970's, a video was made using this text and narrated by Bud Haggert. The video was posted to YouTube[2] by Dave Rondot on April 9th, 2010, where it received over 3.3 million views in over fifteen years.
