About
Uptown Noobs is a musical parody of Mark Ronson's 'Uptown Funk' that is mostly used in mashups or YouTube Poop Music Videos. It replaces many lines in Uptown Funk with many Minecraft related-items. The parody is considered cringe-worthy by many.
Origin
Uptown Noobs was originally a YouTube video uploaded to the YouTube channel TheYellowPolarBear around September 2015. The original video has been removed from the channel (because of this, the video shown above is a re-upload). The reception was mixed when it was first uploaded.
Spread
Uptown Noobs got reuploaded to DailyMotion on September 3, 2015, which was shortly after it's initial release on YouTube. Since then, a YouTuber by the name of Flutter (which was terminated in early 2018, meaning a small portion of Uptown Noobs memes have been removed) uploaded a We Are Number One X Uptown Noobs mashup and since then, Uptown Noobs has been re-uploaded several times on YouTube and other memes have been made.
