Wikiposting is a flexible meme format where you join two separate Wikipedia articles, showing the image of one article and the description text of another. By posting a link, it embeds important or supplemental information (such as text and an image) to show the validity of what you are posting.
Wikiposting involves deliberately misleading the viewer into thinking that an article is being represented by an image usually in in comically outlandish way.
Origins
Because of the nature of posting a link anywhere, it's hard to pinpoint of the first person to become aware of combining two wikipedia articles and embedding them, however, its popularization has been traced back to the Viper the Rapper Discord where user "Elf" posted link.
