Word On The Street Is You Messed With My Gang or Gub Gub, Senor Beatdown, Halloween Joe and Larry is a TikTok audio in which an AI voice says, "Word on the street is you messed with my gang, so you're getting a not-so-friendly visit from Gub Gub, Senor Beatdown, Halloween Joe and the ace up my sleeve, Larry." The audio uses the same AI voice as the Scariest Stories videos and is similar to the You Better Not Mess With My Gang audio. As a meme, the audio is used over videos that show a different subject to represent each name, portraying them as the poster's gang. The audio was popularized on TikTok throughout December 2024 and January 2025.
Origin
As early as December 15th, 2024, now-deleted TikToker[1] @user25693561916 posted an audio using an AI voice to read, "Word on the street is you messed with my gang, so you're getting a not-so-friendly visit from Gub Gub, Senor Beatdown, Halloween Joe and the ace up my sleeve, Larry." The account has seemingly been deleted along with the original video, however, the original sound still exists.
That day, TikToker[2] @progamer211 posted the earliest known example of the meme, which shows several animals over the audio as each name is said, garnering over 319,000 views in a month.

Spread
The audio garnered viral spread on TikTok throughout December 2024 and January 2025 via several popular original sounds.[3][4][5][6] For example, on December 16th, 2024, TikToker[7] @bubblebass4life posted a video to the sound that gained over 245,000 views in a month. On December 22nd, TikToker[8] @p0psy_g.x posted a video that gained over 3 million views in the same span of time.

On December 23rd, X[9] user @GalaxyZeinz posted an image of three deer in the snow captioned, "word on the street is… you messed with my gang," further quoting in the meme in the comments, garnering over 3,100 likes in a month.
On January 14th, 2025, TikToker[10] @beansjellycat posted a version of the meme showing the same plush figure for each name, garnering over 948,000 views in a week.
