About
You Be Profen, also known as You Be What? You Be Profen? is a quote from an animation by DiEM (DiemArchive) in which the character Ragebait Goblin is granted a wish from a genie and chooses to change the word "gooning" to "profen." He then makes the genie read "Ibuprofen," the over-the-counter pain medication, which sounds like "I be profen." The goblin then laughs with his tongue out and middle finger up and says, "You be what? You be profen?" with the joke being that "profen" now means "gooning." The animation was originally posted to YouTube, Instagram and TikTok in August 2025, inspiring animation memes and other jokes over the following months.
