Beloved Instagram personality, and so-called "unc" of the decade, Chester Stone is said to be dead as an obituary for a "Chester Alexander Stone" has spread on TikTok and elsewhere recently.
The "Chester Alexander Stone" obituary started spreading on TikTok when multiple accounts shared it in videos that portrayed sadness. Some used shoegaze songs and slow fade-ins to really reel in the authenticity of the claim.

Although many think that Stone left the internet in 2021, as his original Instagram and TikTok pages went dark, Stone is seemingly alive via recent posts on (what appears to be) his current Instagram account @chesterston1.
The account's posted content as recently as Friday afternoon. It seems that Stone, the man known for such classics like There's A Monkey In My Bathroom, is most likely alive and that his death rumor is one big hoax.
In fact, it seems like the Tampa, Florida-based creator is in Atlanta, Georgia right now, messing with fans in public (like usual).
Although it seems like a hoax, the outpour of love for Stone has been prevalent over the past 24 hours. If Stone had passed away, the internet obviously would have remembered him well.
