Controversy Brews On Social Media After 'Libs of TikTok' Creator Chaya Raichik Gets Job In Oklahoma Department Of Education
Chaya Raichik, better known by the handle of her popular Twitter / X account Libs of TikTok, has a new gig: adviser to a state library committee in Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters eagerly shared the news on Twitter yesterday, making clear the ideological reasoning behind the curious selection.
Walters wrote, "No one has done more to expose what the radical left is all about than @ChayaRaichik10 and @libsoftiktok. Her's is a powerful voice to protect Oklahoma kids from porn in schools and woke indoctrination."
Critics have pointed out that Libs of TikTok and Walters himself have been accused of inspiring bomb threats against Oklahoma schools.
In August last year, a Tulsa, Oklahoma elementary school received two bomb threats the day after Libs of TikTok posted a video of the school's librarian joking she was pushing her "woke agenda" on kids.
In the post, the librarian wrote, "My radical liberal agenda is teaching kids to love books and be kind." Walters reposted Libs of TikTok's video attempting to "expose" the librarian saying, "Woke ideology is real and I am here to stop it." Around the same time, bomb threats were called into the school.
Democrats say it doesn’t exist.
The liberal media denies the issue.
Even some Republicans hide from it.

This came just days after a Davis, California school received bomb threats after they were posted about on Libs of TikTok.
The infamy of Raichik's account led many on social media to find her appointment to a position in the Oklahoma Department of Education alarming. Some Oklahoma residents were not thrilled that Raichik appeared to take pride in inspiring bomb threats.
Raichik does not live in Oklahoma, but rather in Brooklyn, New York. She is also a real estate agent and seems to have no prior experience in education.
As reactions poured in online today, Raichik said the "liberal meltdown … has been insane" in response to the backlash.
The liberal meltdown over me joining @RyanWaltersSupt to rid schools of p*rn has been insane. Why are they so desperate to keep p*rn in school? 🤔 https://t.co/kXRNMRWKRh

Others on Twitter / X notably celebrated the move, sharing various memes and reactions applauding her appointment.
