In recent days, people who have been close to former President Donald Trump have come forward with allegations about one of the consequences of being close to him: a bad smell.

Adam Kinzinger, a former Republican Congressman and one of the leaders of the 2022 January 6th Committee Hearings shared in a post to X last weekend that Trump has a "problem."

Adding to the growing rumor, Kinzinger isn't the only one to come forward and make such claims.

Comedian Kathy Griffin, who knew Trump during his days on The Apprentice said that he smelled like "body odor" and cheap perfume. Anthony Scaramucci once remarked that Trump "stinks" (although that may have been a misinterpreted metaphor) and Noel Casler, a former staffer on The Apprentice who has since made a career as a comedian, claims that Trump supposedly wears diapers.

The diaper-wearing rumor has gained some traction online over recent days despite a lack of evidence. Some speculate that Trump (if he wears diapers, which is unproven) might not be the most mindful of the maintenance of those diapers.

Others joked about other potential reasons that Trump might have a bad odor as the rumor mill began swirling this week.

A Trump spokesman commenting on the Kinzinger "smell" allegations told the Independent that "Adam Kinzinger (passed gas) on live TV and is an unemployed fraud."

The very-online former Congressman, despite this pushback, continues to emphasize Trump's odor, going as far as calling him a "beta" in a recent post.
