Elijah Wood Pops By Animal Crossing Island To Sell Turnips
Elijah Wood, Frodo actor and, by all accounts, decent guy, has been popping by Animal Crossing: New Horizons islands to sell turnips and drop compliments of random players.
Yesterday, Animal Crossing fan and apparent Rian Johnson enthusiast @directedbyrian tweeted that her price for turnips, the ever-valuable in-game item, was 599 bells and she was open to having people come by to sell.
my price for turnips is 599 bells!!! dm me for dodo code 💕 #AnimalCrossingNewHorizons #acnh #turnipprices pic.twitter.com/dsU23mo9bw

Wood, likely holed up and playing Animal Crossing like the rest of us, slid into the user's DMs and took a tour of her island.

He seemed to be a model guest, complimenting her island and very politely asking if he could pick some fruit. He also voiced his support for Rian Johnson, in respect to the user's apparent idol.
