It's been a relatively quiet year for Donald Trump-related internet content (at least after January), but that changed over the weekend when the ex-President made a rare post-presidency public appearance at the North Carolina Republican convention and the internet obsessed over his crotch.

Specifically, people obsessed with the fact the crotch of his pants did not show a zipper, suggesting the man had put his pants on backwards that day. Take a look at the evidence yourself:

While Tweeters and the general cohort of Trump critics on Twitter got their yuks at what looked like Trump having a brain fart, Snopes stepped in and clarified that no, Trump's pants weren't on backward. They watched all of Trump's 90-minute appearance to label the claim as "false."

Of course, that did little to deter the general giggling at Trump's appearance, making Twitter feel like 2016-2020 once again.
