Jerry Messing, best known for his role on the cult classic series Freaks and Geeks and the *Tips Fedora* meme that earned him the online title of "Fedora Guy," recently shared that he's struggling with partial paralysis after a battle with COVID-19.

TMZ originally reported on Messing's COVID-19 diagnosis and hospitalization in August, revealing that he was put on a ventilator to help with recovery. They caught up with Messing earlier this week where he told them that he was released from the hospital over a week ago and recently tested negative for the virus. However, Messing is now struggling to move his arms and legs and is reportedly unable to walk on his own, forcing him to do physical therapy to recover.

Messing also told TMZ that he has only had one dose of the Pfizer vaccination so far, which he received before his positive COVID-19 test and is waiting until he's better healed for the second, as ordered by his doctors. Messing caught pneumonia while suffering from COVID-19 and they want to ensure it's healed before giving him his second dose.
