'Godrick the Grafted' Proves to Be A Wall For Many 'Elden Ring' Players As Memes About The Boss Appear Online

For fans of action RPG titles, Elden Ring coming out last Friday was a much anticipated and hyped event. For non-action fans who decided to buy into the hype and pick the game up, it was the start of a long and brutal process.

While the "SoulsBorneShadowRing" (SBSR) series is known for its difficulty, Elden Ring has been picked up by more consumers than ever before, leading to quite a lot of people who haven't faced this kind of challenge finding themselves deep in the thick of it. Using social media as a way to gauge struggles, the first big boss of the game, Godrick the Grafted, appears to be the initial wall that people face as he's slowly become the subject of numerous memes over the weekend.

While fans mostly complained of his inconsistent attack timing, there were plenty of memes and jokes to be had at Godrick's mid-fight transition. During the transition cutscene, Godrick starts screaming loudly, and depending on how many times you see this cutscene before you kill him, it can start to get maddening for some.


However, if you manage to stay friends with one of the NPCs and best Godrick, you are treated to some absolutely wonderful flavor details after the win, which was shared online alongside the rise of memes about Godrick's difficulty and those who say struggling players need to git gud.
