Kellyanne Conway To Leave White House To Spend More Time With Family

Kellyanne Conway will be leaving the White House at the end of this month to focus on her family, she announced on Twitter late last night. Her husband George, a vocal anti-Trump critic, also announced he'd be leaving The Lincoln Project.
I'm Leaving the White House. Gratefully & Humbly.

God Bless You All.— Kellyanne Conway (@KellyannePolls) August 24, 2020
Kellyanne Conway said the decision was "completely my choice and my voice," citing the upcoming school year, which will be radically different from a typical school year amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, as a reason for her decision.
"There will be less drama, more mama," she wrote.
The move comes after months of posts from her daughter, Claudia Conway, which condemned Kellyanne's politics and alleged that Conway had abused her, which won her widespread support on social media.
Though Kellyanne Conway made no reference to Claudia's posts in her statement, Twitter users believed they were instrumental in getting the controversial aide to step down.
Claudia Conway managed to do what no one else could. Get our news cleansed of .@KellyannePolls
She's 15. Imagine her power when she gets older.
I hope she continues to use it for good.— Kat Harris (@Katana134) August 24, 2020
At 15, Claudia Conway showed more morality than the entire GOP.

KellyAnne Conway made a choice to work in an administration that destroys families….it destroyed hers. The only one I feel for is their daughter who is crying out for help. #claudiaconway

She's 15 trended on Twitter after Conway's announcement, a reference to Claudia's age, as critics of Claudia brushed off her allegations of abuse and cries for emancipation.
Re Claudia Conway: This is why abused children don't speak out, bc of people who write them off due to their age and say they're just looking for attention.
She's 15 and has the strength to speak out about it despite the assholes who are apparently ok with abuse. pic.twitter.com/gm5SjHj2yu— Mimi Song (@anotherwdwlady) August 24, 2020
Claudia posted a celebratory TikTok after the news of her parents' resignations from their respective roles broke. "Look what I did, ladies and gentlemen," she said.
@datjerseygirl the power i hold – i-- they think this is gonna stop me from getting emancipated? NANSHAJAB BYE
