Lake Superior Twitter Account Celebrated By Pro-choicers For 'Owning' Pro-life Tweeter
As the United States Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe vs. Wade has sparked a heated viral debate among many online, some of those with significant platforms have been expressing their outrage, even if it's not entirely brand appropriate.
One unlikely source of outrage at the decision came from the Twitter account for Lake Superior, one of the state of Michigan's five Great Lakes.
This lake vehemently stands with women having the right to choose.

While an American lake voicing their support for a woman's right to choose had little bearing in the grand scheme of the abortion debate, one pro-lifer by the username @TomFitton apparently took issue with the lake's political leanings, writing, "Water is wet and abortion kills a human being."

The voice of Lake Superior then retorted Mr. Fitton with what some users called one of the most devastating and widely celebrated burns in the site's history.
Thomas, not even your first talking point is correct. Water is not wet, what water touches is wet.
I'm confident I have a lot more experience in making things wet than you do.— Lake Superior (@LakeSuperior) June 27, 2022
The riposte of Tom Fitton stunned many Twitter users, particularly pro-choicers who were thrilled to see such a witty burn from such an unlikely source. Even the Governor of Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer, had to applaud.
This Governor is proud of Lake Superior, which has really earned its name. https://t.co/bdlCa6e0VV

I've seen bodies of water but I've never seen a guy get bodied by water

Lake Superior even had facts to fire back at additional trolls who attempted to dunk on what is apparently "the greatest lake of all time," or G.L.O.A.T. After one user tried to needle Lake Superior by telling it that they had peed in it, the account already had a tweet ready to go about how one human's urine means nothing to its greatness.
