Logan Paul, long one of the most contentious content creators on the internet, took part in the WWE's Wrestlemania event last weekend, where his divisive online personality proved to be his greatest asset.

Paul teamed with The Miz, one of WWE's most detestable heels, in a match against father-son duo Rey and Dom Mysterio. After a month of Paul being a fairly decent promo (though undoubtedly aided by the top-tier mic skills of The Miz), Wrestlemania finally came, and Paul walked out with a $6 million Pikachu Pokémon card around his neck, a reference to his previous troubles with expensive Pokémon cards. When the four finally came to blows, Paul actually proved himself in the ring to the surprise of many.

Paul played up his heel persona and got the crowd hot. In the ring, he was able to pull off an impressive powerbomb and sold a double 619 (the Mysterios' finisher) like a champ en route to a dirty finish that saw The Miz and Paul come out on top.

Afterward, The Miz, ever the scummiest man in WWE, turned on Paul, hitting him with the Skull Crushing Finale to cap off a surprisingly well-received appearance from the YouTuber and part-time athlete. Paul later remarked he "finally won something" in a backstage promo that concluded with him bluntly saying, "F**k you, Miz."
