What started about a third-hand account of one man's swollen testicles has turned into a global media brouhaha.

Monday night, Nicki Minaj shared a story that allegedly happened to her "cousin's friend." According to Minaj, this unfortunate fellow got a COVID-19 vaccine then suffered swollen testicles and impotence, leading his fiancée to call off their wedding.

Minaj also said she wouldn't attend the Met Gala due to its vaccination requirement and that she was "doing research" to see if she wanted to get vaccinated.

Most people didn't believe the "cousin's friend" story, as "my cousin's friend" is almost never a trustworthy news source and there is no data suggesting impotence and swollen testicles are a side effect of a COVID-19 vaccine (they are, however, a symptom of STDs such as chlamydia). Media and medical professionals had a day's worth of news discussing Minaj's vaccine hesitancy, opining that the "cousin's friend" story was very likely inaccurate and her vaccine agnosticism could potentially be a damaging message to people hesitant to take the vaccine.

The story doesn't end there, however, as Minaj has shot back at the major figures poking fun at her tweets. One of the major figures was Piers Morgan, who remarked that Minaj was "one of the rudest little madams I've ever met," sparking a lengthy back and forth between the pair on Twitter.

She also set her sights on MSNBC anchor Joy Ann Reid, calling her an "Uncle Tomiana" for disagreeing with her vaccine hesitancy and pulled up an old Reid tweet where she expressed her own vaccine hesitancy.

Even Boris Johnson, the Prime Minister of the UK, got caught up in the crossfire, as Nicki posted a mocking tweet after the Prime Minister made a crack about her at a recent press event.

As it stands, Nicki Minaj is quasi-feuding with major political and media figures across the globe, all while one man is supposedly suffering in Trinidad with giant testicles. It may be some time before we ever hear from the anonymous, big-balled gentlemen, but Minaj is apparently ready to get him on national TV.
