Noah Schnapp, most known for his role as Will Byers in Stranger Things, has recently come out as gay in a viral video on TikTok.

However, ever since his character went through a widespread debate over his gay speculation during the latest season, some had seemingly already suspected that Schnapp wasn't straight, resulting in many expressing that it was one of the most "unsurprising" reveals in recent years.

Almost immediately upon his announcement yesterday, people online began making posts and memes of his past moments and references to episodes of Stranger Things where they had already confirmed to themselves that he was gay.

However, the immediate support he found online also had a similarly immediate but opposite reaction taking place, with people making jokes about his "zestiness" through the reactions of those around him. Additionally, a portion of the Stranger Things fanbase has an ironic meme belief that Millie Bobby Brown, the actress who plays Eleven, is homophobic, prompting people to post overexaggerated reactions of what she would do once she sees the news.

Added in as well was Doja Cat memes referencing her contentious moment of homophobia, who notably had her thirst leaked by Schnapp last year in a controversial beef that was widely discussed online.
