The newest Pokémon Presents livestream today had a lot of new details to share about the upcoming games slated for launch soon. The presentation featured a look at returning features within the new Sinnoh remakes, as well as ways that older features were expanded for the remakes.

There was also info on the Breath of the Wild inspired Pokémon game, Pokémon Legends: Arceus, which is due in January 2022. The gameplay and feature trailer also showed off four new Pokémon forms from previous generations, with one being a new form of Growlithe that is specific to the region. Fans on Twitter hurried to make their opinions on the new content be heard.

With the chibi art style of the Sinnoh remakes and the open-world nature of Arceus, many people went immediately into making memes and jokes about what is currently known to be in the game. This includes taking the newly announced Kazuma Kiryu chibi-sprite that was introduced to Super Monkey Ball and putting him inside the world of Pokémon.
