The news led to an outpouring of tributes from his School of Rock co-stars. Jack Black and Miranda Cosgrove both posted tributes to the late actor on their social media pages.
School of Rock was Clark's lone acting credit. A drummer for life, Clark played in Chicago bands Dreadwolf, Funk it Let’s Jam, and Jess Bess and the Intentions. He also taught drums in Chicago's School of Rock location.
Online, tributes poured out for Clark's performance in the film, which inspired many at a young age to get into the drums.
I think we can all agree that watching this scene as a kid changed a lot of our lives
