Actor Bill Murray's largely spotless and fabled online reputation is quickly turning sour following several new allegations of controversial on-set conduct from actors including Seth Green, Geena Davis and Rob Schneider.

The allegations come just days after Puck News shared the details of an alleged $100,000 settlement between Murray and a female staffer working on Aziz Ansari's upcoming film Being Mortal. The film's production came to a pause in April after the woman complained about Murray's on-set conduct.

The details on what exactly happened to cause the halt in production have been scarce until last Monday when Puck reported that Murray purportedly started kissing and straddling a female staffer's body near an on-set bed, which was being used to film a scene. Murray had allegedly taken a liking to the staffer and flirted with her in the weeks prior.

The article speculates, "It was perhaps an unclear bit of physical comedy, but one that was unannounced." He then allegedly kissed the staffer on the mouth. Both were wearing masks due to COVID-19 protocols. The staffer took Murray's actions as sexual and filed a complaint, causing a halt in production. According to the Puck story, Murray settled with the staffer in mediation for more than $100,000.

Now, Murray is facing further accusations of inappropriate on-set behavior following the release of actress Geena Davis' book, Dying of Politeness: A Memoir, which came out last Tuesday. In the book, Davis recalled a time when Murray screamed at her on the set of "Quick Change." She also wrote that Murray coerced her into letting him give her a massage at a hotel suite. According to Davis, she was "shaking all over, dying from shame" over the screaming incident.

On Wednesday, actor and Robot Chicken creator Seth Green then appeared on Rhett and Link's Good Mythical Morning where he told a story about Murray getting angry at him when he was only 9 years old for sitting in "his seat" during the filming of an episode of Saturday Night Live. According to Green, Murray picked him up by his ankles and dunked him head-first into a trash can, saying, "The trash goes in the trash can."

As if that wasn't enough, Rob Schneider decided to spill the tea on Murray during an appearance on the Jim Norton & Sam Roberts show, where he claimed that Murray hated cast members of SNL and treated them poorly because of it, including Adam Sandler and Chris Farley.

Since the pile-on of allegations, many on Twitter and the internet at large have started reconsidering their undying, Keanu-level adoration of Murray. Some are taking the allegations as a cautionary tale about celebrity worship, while others are sharing their disappointment over the previously unproblematic actor's alleged misconduct being brought to light.

Others are bringing up new and little-known allegations about Murray, such as allegations that he abused his wife. A video clip of Murray touching and stroking Davis during a late-night talk show segment is also going around as further evidence of his alleged invasive behavior.

Twitter user @Judnikki recently added a new allegation to the pile, claiming that Murray touched Solange's scalp after asking if she had a wig three times, in a tweet that's gained over 15,000 likes since Sunday.

At the time of writing, Murray has not responded to any of the most recent allegations leveled against him.
