Adam Perkins, one of the internet's most recognizable Vine stars, passed away last Sunday at the age of 24. His twin brother Patrick announced the news this morning on Instagram.

Perkins wrote:

"i can’t even really put into words what this loss means for me. i’m often asked the question, “what’s it like to be a twin?” and my response is usually, “what’s it like to NOT be a twin?”
being a twin is a very central part of my identity. it’s all i’ve known. and i’m struggling to find the words to explain what it will be like for me to live in this world without him. my best friend.

Adam Perkins was best known as a Vine creator, with his most notable Vine being Welcome to Chili's. He is also the "Adam" in a popular Vine where he messes up his brother's vape smoke.

No cause of death was given. After Patrick shared the news on social media, an outpouring of tributes and support appeared on Twitter.

Rest in peace to a legend.

Adam Perkins was also a musician. His brother Patrick has announced he plans to release Adam's album Latch Relay on Plas.teg records.
