As the year progresses and we near the halfway mark, law, conspiracy theories, memes and pop culture have melted into one pot, demonstrated by this strange Twitter reply from Crazy Frog to Elon Musk.

As an attempt to dunk on the potential owner of Twitter, the German techno amphibian photoshopped itself onto a photograph of Musk and Ghislaine Maxwell, notorious for her sex trafficking trial and the deceased Jeffery Epstein.

Elon Musk has become well-known as something of a shitposter on Twitter, where he commonly posts lots of memes on his account — like when he tweeted an I Support The Current Thing meme or made fun of Bill Gates' Body. On Saturday, he posted a meme that referenced Crazy Frog, and apparently, that was all it took to generate a formal response from the DJing frog.

As Musk has become a memetic force on Twitter, as well as more controversial in the mainstream for his conservative viewpoints and politics, the photo of him and Maxwell (originally taken on March 2nd, 2014 at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party) has been used by trolls within his replies to offer some kind of ironic rebuttal to any point that he makes. The practice has increased in usage over the past year.

The Crazy Frog tweet reads as an attempt to reference this known practice, however, it's strange nonetheless. First of all, why is an entity like Crazy Frog commenting on child sex trafficking? Additionally, what is Crazy Frog saying about child sex trafficking and Elon Musk in general with this photoshop edit? These are just a couple of questions Twitter users started to ask within the days that followed the tweet's upload.

Crazy Frog's viral marketing strategies have been perplexing as of late. The pantless frog has photoshopped itself into You Know I Had to Do It to Em and No Bitches?, among other recognizable meme templates. Is Crazy Frog still releasing music that it wants to go viral to promote? The answer seems to be "yes," and its strategies to promote this music appear to be boundless with this latest tweet.
