When the Minecraft YouTuber known as Technoblade succumbed to his cancer last year, many wept online as his impact on the Minecraft community ran deep. These same feelings were once again brought up today on the anniversary of his YouTube account's creation.

Commemorating the event, YouTube did something surprising, creating a memorial video that runs through the early history and big moments in his Minecraft career. This documentary of sorts was focused on his catchphrase "Technoblade never dies," which YouTube also made query searches for "Technoblade" autocorrect to.

The reaction from the fanbase was immense, with many fans breaking out in tears over the video and sharing their sadness as the loss of Technoblade was felt once more.

These, along with other reactions, also congratulated YouTube on a job well done with the video, as some state it's YouTube finally doing something good to wash away the past YouTube Rewinds in terms of not understanding what their demographic base really wants.
