Oupi Goupi is the name given to an angry-looking kitten in a series of French cat-themed lore videos on TikTok, alongside other characters like Larry, La Créature, Le Lobotomisateur, and L'Électrecien, among others. The French cat videos were popularised by TikToker @lakaka.land, who took inspiration from the You Better Not Mess With My Gang sound as well as @offlainnnn's Scariest Stories video format, which also gave rise to the Creature Feature meme. Memes about Oupi Goupi spread outside of @lakaka.land's videos by January 2025.
