Oh gosh lets not start up these fandom wars, please? And I'm saying this as someone who likes both of the things pictured.

(because lets be honest, these fandom wars are one reason why people will have a dislike towards fandoms to begin with, because when you start doing the whole "I think I'm better than you for liking one thing over another" thing, people think you're being an obnoxious douche)

Yeah, I often that way with the Jojo fandom. As good as the series is, I find the fans who act like it's the only good anime in existence to be incredibly off-putting, seeing how they encourage elitism. As you said, two or more fandoms insulting, berating, and flaming each other tends to make outsiders look at all sides with revulsion and turns them off from participating in any side. That being said, it's fine to praise or criticize a work or fandom as long as some thought is put into it and you don't call anyone an idiot for liking one thing or another.
