My friend, memes aren't simply catch-phrases, funny pictures, or ideas that repeat across common culture with minor variations and deviations. Memes transcend all boundaries of all subjects, down to the very core of their beings, and so become those subjects.

Put simply, it is our job to "know so much." We catalogue the memes, and in so doing we catalogue society and all aspects of society.
