Peach's parasol is supposed to be able to copy the enemy it targets, however you only meet maybe one or two different enemy types with it (Koopatrols and maybe Hammer Bros.). The fact that using it on a Toad just turns her into a Koopatrol shows that it doesn't actually copy the target.
