Shouldn't the Zelda characters be humans in all but name, since they're Hylians (and Gerudo)? And Robin should be part-human.

Indeed. Link is clearly not a human: he is an elf. Not even human by name or partially human – that would be a fantasy creature.

Ganon is… not a human, either. Only looks like one, but he is more of an entity, so, either fantasy creature or deity.
