Zak Mane refers to a lion furry OC character who was created by a pro-life Twitter / X user named Ben Jackson (@BenAGoodLife) in November 2024. Zak Mane's characteristics and measurements are outlined in the original image. He's Christian, 5'11" and 305 pounds. He is shown from three angles, wearing his casual, work and church outfits. The Zak Mane image spread en masse in early 2025, becoming an exploitable as his likeness was inserted into different meme templates.

Origin

On November 12th, 2024, X[1] user @azirasno tweeted, "Drop an OC if you care about babies! RTs are appreciated but not required 💞 FILL THE WALL‼️‼️," attaching a drawing of their OC fursona with text reading, "These users are pro-life." The tweet received over 4.3 million views and 1,300 likes in four months (shown below).

Later on November 12th, X[2] user @BenAGoodLife replied to the tweet, attaching an image of his lion fursona named Zak Mane. The image had a green background and outlined his character's traits and measurements. He captioned the image, "I am proudly pro-life" (shown below).

The tweet has since been deleted but was added to archive.is.[3] A screenshot of the tweet was shared to Reddit[4] six days later, showing that it received over 6.9 million views and 1,300 likes.

The Zak Mane tweet received viral replies and quote tweets soon after, like a reply shared by X[6] user @Harmon_977 on November 14th, who attached an image of Oscar Proud looking at Penny Proud's long feet, from the Disney show The Proud Family, to point out Zak Mane's long feet. The reply received over 9,800 likes in four months (shown below).
