As someone who hasn't seen Evangelion, this is my interpretation.

1st & 2nd: D.Va finally found out that Doritos aren't a healthy food and used her last nutrients to witness her error.

3rd: Junkrat found out D.Va's fanart and is now paranoic to seeing them everywhere.

4th: Mei ordered a 10 year supply of Doritos while drunk while Mercy and Pharah are surprised they fitted inside Winston's room.

5th: 76 is watching cock fight/horse race and his chicken/horse he bet on is losing the last money he used on bets and plasma ammunition.

6th: Tracer discovered that, after all, she isn't the cavalry.

7th: Mercy won a McDonalds brand chess set and is really excited about the pawns.

8th: D.Va ate the last happy meal in existence. Junkrat, seeing this, falls in paranoia again, knowing the imp will always fuck him up.

And I guess brand recognition went so far, that McDonalds has its own forest.
