Notes:

This may very well be my favorite of all the custom Magic: the Gathering cards I've designed. It's based on the Magical Electrifier, an item in Bioware's Neverwinter Nights games (I don't think it shows up in the main campaign of either game, though I haven't played very far into either; as far as I know, it's exclusive to the map/campaign editor). The Magical Electrifier's gimmick in those games is to destroy other items in your inventory or on the ground and convert them into magical energy, then transfer that magical energy to a staff, wand, or similar magic item. So the version I designed for Magic: the Gathering does essentially the same thing. You can feed it your mana or sacrifice a permanent you don't need, and use that energy later to power up your permanents. (Well, permanents that can use charge counters, anyways.)

I think I might revisit this card in the future and make a new version revolving around the energy counter concept from the Kaladesh block.
