Unfortantly that won't work like it did on Kars

While Ryuko can't see or damage Star Platinum, there isn't really anything Jotaro can do that will permanently put down Ryuko either. She's recovered from her heart being ripped out and having huge chunks of her torn apart, the latter not even slowing her down. While Jotaro could defeat her at the beginning of the series with his speed advantage, there isn't much any Jotaro bar possibly EoH version could do that would stop Ryuko from flattening the general area Jotaro is in with her attacks.
