Is there a limit on how many uploads you can make before it's considered spam? Looking at some of the galleries, it's hard to tell. I guess a moderator will give me a heads up if I get too rapid with this. One of the things I'm seeing with chibi style is the relative ease of changing expressions and poses. With various layers, you can make all kinds of expressions and styles to suit a situation. The style Apache-chan is in would be the "three heads" variation (though my understanding is that the types are flexible). Most common seems to be the "two heads" type, but I'll try that out later and probably for a more specific usage.
You ever get one of those ideas that gets in your head and stays in there, burrowing deep until it's like a split in the center of your brain? Other than the obvious FPS weapons, of course. Well, Apache-chan is the most recent one for me. As you can see on her flight suit, she hates tanks, has a rank of... Tail rotor, chaingun, rockets, and HELLFIRE? I guess attack helicopters have a different rank structure than we do. I've never done chibi-style drawing before so thought I'd give it a try with this concept. It took a few iterations to get to this point, but I'm satisfied with the current result. With more practice I'm sure I could do better, but I'll put that aside until I get more of the concept solidified. Oh and if you recognize this, you might have a guess at who I am, so I will neither confirm nor deny my identity. OPSEC and all that.
