Considering all of this, it's amazing that this guy is still just human, or even mortal at all. Considering how he constantly comes back to life, it may even be questionable whether he even can be definitively bested in combat. The rare figure capable of outperforming his god-like physical prowess still wont even know if he's really gone for good. It's possible that he'll just come right back with all the same force as before. In terms of video game characters, particularly of unmodified humans, there is no equal to Doom Guy. He is at the absolute zenith of human performance in that regard. Perhaps those who have been biologically or mechanically modified, such as Samus Aran, could challenge his might, but even then it's questionable as most of those other figures are definitely confirmed to be mortal. Doom Guy might not even be capable of dying, and since his body can fight literally forever, there is no telling what force would actually be required to stop him. In conclusion, Doom Guy is a crazy-strong m----------- The only thing known about the Doom marine's life prior to the events of the Doom games is that he was stationed on the Mars base in the first place because he had assaulted a superior officer who ordered him to fire upon innocent civilians. In Doom 3, on the other hand, it is specified that the player has been sent to Mars as a replacement for another marine lost in the operations.
