He sidesteps at an even higher speed, still unrecorded but I assume to be in the 70 mph range, which is how fast a cheetah sprints, only Doom Guy does it sideways, and indefinitely Doom Guy does this while carrying a car's worth of equipment in weight, about 1600 pounds worth (about 725kg) On top of this, he does it all while firing any of his weapons with perfect accuracy, reloading at rates that defy human speed, and even the biggest of guns, with all of their recoil, do not affect his aim at all. He can fire a rocket launcher at a continuous volley of 1 rocket about every second, for 100 rockets straight, and suffer no ill effect at all. It doesnt even throw his aim off. This could mean that he's strong enough to endure the rocket launcher recoil as if it's nothing at all, or that he has such fast reflexes that he can essentially brace for the impact of recoil at the exact instant that it occurs. There's not even discernable skin, head, limbs, or other organs after he does it. All you see is a pile of red goo with some bones sticking out. He literally explodes their entire soft tissue structure with his punch, which, keep in mind, is not even his full swing but merely a quick jab Now, remember that this is all happening at once. Doom Guy can carry a car on his back, while running faster than the fastest land animal in the world, while firing a powerful rocket launcher with perfect accuracy and no recoil effect whatsoever, AND jab so hard that those hit simply pop like a balloon. AND it can all be done forever. Doom Guy has no limit to his endurance and stamina. The only reason he ever has to stop firing rockets is if he runs out of rockets to fire. No actual health ailments befall him for doing any of this crazy-ass s---. As for endurance to pain, Doom Guy has regularly trekked across acid and molten lava to complete his missions. He can take a rocket to the face and live to kill the f----- that shot him. The guy pretty much doesn't get hurt, period. And this is just with short-sleeve armor, pants, boots, and a helmet. Considering all of this, it's amazing that this guy is still just human, or even mortal at all. Considering how he constantly comes back to life, it may even be questionable whether he even can be definitively bested in combat. The rare figure capable of outperforming his god-like physical prowess still wont even know if he's really gone for good. It's possible that he'll just come right back with all the same force as before. In terms of video game characters, particularly of unmodified humans, there is no equal to Doom Guy. He is at the absolute zenith of human performance in that regard. Perhaps those who have been biologically or mechanically modified, such as Samus Aran, could challenge his might, but even then it's questionable as most of those other figures are definitely confirmed to be mortal. Doom Guy might not even be capable of dying, and since his body can fight literally forever, there is no telling what force would actually be required to stop him. In conclusion, Doom Guy is a crazy-strong m----------- The only thing known about the Doom marine's life prior to the events of the Doom games is that he was stationed on the Mars base in the first place because he had assaulted a superior officer who ordered him to fire upon innocent civilians. In Doom 3, on the other hand, it is specified that the player has been sent to Mars as a replacement for another marine lost in the operations.
