…What a shit mom that was. And the worst part is, this is hardly the first time I've heard of stories like this. My grandfather's dad had an absurdly busy job and came home to his house empty. My grandfather was always told his dad abandoned him by his mother, and only near the end of their lives did they finally meet back up again.
