SS4 was legit though. One of the few good things about GT honestly.

Actually, in GT Vegeta didn't had a tail when he wanted to become ss4.
Bulma just shoot him with enough blutz waves that his tail regrew on its own.
So, in theory, all U6 saiyans need to become ss4 is getting shot with enough blutz waves.
