The payment method will only check if the number is formatted properly but not try to acces your bank account so you can have your trial without using your real credit card

This is why I don’t use a service at all unless I am pretty sure I am gonna pay for it.

Free 30 Day trial is just a sweet sounding way of saying “We’re gonna let you use this for free for a while and hope you forget to cancel before we charge ya.” Looking at you Amazon.
