People who are verified on Twitter. It's literally nothing more than an in-circle status badge. To quality you must be popular enough, not have said enough dumb shit (or at least don't get called out for it), and basically swear yourself to whatever Twitter tells you to say and do.

As such the immediate response to Valve allowing basically anything on Steam as long as it's not illegal has been a shitstorm from "verified" Twitter users (who are known for saying stupid shit, because usually the only way to get that popular is to have a following of morons or be extremely attention grabby with what you say), basically throwing out the usual arguments that it's just allowing more big tiddy anime games on Steam, and pedo games, and blah blah blah. Basically I don't like it so nobody else should be able to have it. It's a mess of "Stop liking what I don't like" and blaming Valve for encouraging dissenting opinions like that's complete heresy.

I may be paraphrasing a bit on some things, or overstating/oversimplifying some things, but that's the jist of it. Only real issue is that this now allows for "ironically" bad games, that are still bad games, and rampant asset flips to, for the most part, be put in without any moderation at all.
