McIntosh's tweet overtly misses the point of Cyberpunk. It is supposed to an oversexed dystopian future with guns, drugs, and all sorts of passive advertisements run by corporations taking over everyday lives. It is there as a means to cover the poverty line Night City is infamous for. And nothing covers a s--- and depressive life better than sex-appeal, celebrity gossip, and mass shootings.
