It will allow for the "indefinite detention" of families, in order for the White House to challenge a 1997 law that limits such detentions to 20 days. Other98 Perhaps the plan all along was to detain entire families. Indefinitely. In camps. And call it humane.. Sam Valk Sooooo now you're against keeping he families together when THEY CHOOSE to seek asylum and get caught up in the courts? The Other 98%, you can't have it both ways. Either the families get separated or they get deported or go to trial as full family units.
