Home News Aquaman Is Already Making Big Bucks In China Aquaman Is Already Making Big Bucks In China By Todd Black - December 8, 2018 1050 NEWSCHANNELS COMICS, ETC. MOVIES Is Aquaman out already? How is that possible? In most of the world, Aquaman is coming to be coming out on December 21st, but this weekend in China, the movie is already out, and that seems to have been a great move by WB, because it's killing it over there. In just two days of release (according to Forbes), the movie has gotten $61 million dollars. Which already makes it the biggest China opening in Warner Bros history. And that's just Friday and Saturday numbers, Sunday's numbers will add to its 3-day total So what does this mean for the rest of the world? Well, many are seeing this as a boost to the already great reviews the movie has gotten. Early estimates had its opening projections in the US around $60-66 million, but now, some think it could up to $90-95 million, if not more. And there's even talks about a sequel already being worked out despite it not releasing in the rest of the world! We'll just have to see how it all works out for the King of the Seas.
