Is it wrong that I think this is kinda hot? Given the……… less than desirable fate befalling her.

The details are a bit spoilery. But the jist of it is: That green goo is what "sanitizes" the octarians/octolings, which turns them into this: (same artist)

It's sort of like becoming a mindless minion for…….. whatever villain is afoot in the Octo Expansion.
