Having only a (very) cursory knowledge of the history, there actually IS a small amount of valid historical baggage behind this. DC's original Captain Marvel was a blatant Superman clone (which is woven into the story). Marvel's Captain Marvel was a less on-the-nose clone (he started as a tech-based hero), but he was only created to get the "Captain Marvel" trademark. Marvel's Marvel was later given more Superman-eque powers like "solar absorption", as best I can tell out of spite

OP, show of hands here.

Which character:

A) Have a by the numbers super hero origin movie whose content isn’t obnoxious about its female empowerment theme

B) Have a CW show that isn’t ashamed of pushing such far left agenda and obvious about feminism.

Seriously with the “controversy” surrounding Captain Marvel shilling feminism, I find thia strawman image using Superhril a bit ironic considering her show is indeed guilty of the things CM is accussed of.
