Arin isn't trending on Twitter because he said being mean is bad. He told SrPelo that his animation was mean spirited. Which it wasn't really. If he had stopped with that, the drama would have most likely been contained to a few posts and been swept under the rug like any other dumb comment Arin makes. But he didn't stop there, he brought up "oldschool Newgrounds types". Effectely making them out to be a crowd of bullies who want to tear others down. Which they aren't really. That's why his comments are getting so much attention. In Arins efforts to defend one community which he has never been part of, he attempted to drag down another community, which he has had deep ties to. The Newgrounds crowd is going after Arin, the STA crowd is saying Arin doesnt speak for them. It's a clusterfuck. Just some thought because the "arin is trend- ing for saying being mean is bad" seems to be a popular phrase right now on Twitter
