On the flipside China has exposed how hypocritical Western corporations are, as they will throw any western values under the bus and kneel to an authoritarian regime if it makes money.

Western corporation's values are "do what gets shareholders the most money". Their policy on crime is "don't get caught" and "if its punishable by a fine that's just the price of doing business". At no point is saving the planet or valuing human rights factored in.
