Bart WAS the victim in this episode, but the characters at fault are Marge and Homer. The bad parents. Bart was carrying the unambiguously most important feature of the Thanksgiving Dinner, the hot, heavy turkey. Lisa made a s----- diorama that absolutely could and should have been put aside so that the actual food had a place at the table. And it was Lisa's childish selfishness that caused the argument which Bart got blamed for. However, Marge and Homer are s----- parents who should have stepped in several times before it escalated to the accidental destruction of Lisa's project, and frankly they shouldn't have been expecting the children to do such an important job in the first place.
