I don't think it's "just the flu" and have been really anxious about it. He's not as worried, but said "yeah, l'll wear a mask". Now he's on his way back and reached out to make plans this week. And I asked him to send me a cute mask selfie from the lane. But he's totally not wearing a mask. And I know masks aren't that preventative in this scenario but they do remind you not to touch your face. And l'm generally feeling really anxious about dating during this, and feel like I'm putting myself at more risk now if I meet up with him. On the one hand, I feel crazy and paranoid, but on the other, I also don't like that he didn't stick to his word while knowing I'm feeling very anxious about this. Would I be totally unreasonable to refuse to see him over this? TL;DR. new guy I've been seeing said he would wear a mask on a plane but then didn't, and I'm feeling anxious about seeing him now, and a bit uncomfortable that he didn't keep his word.
