Every now and then stuff like this happens. Like Charles Martinet, the voice of Mario, was the voice of Paarthurnax in Skyrim, and while Nolan North being a voice in Batman: Arkham Asylum wasn't surprising as this was the era when North was is practically everything, the fact he voiced PENGUIN of all characters was the surprise (pretty far from the kind of character he was voicing around this time), and he did it well to boot.

Also thinking back on it it's surprising Tim Curry was the voice of Nigel Thornberry as through most of Curry's career he usually played villains like the 1990 Pennywise, Dr Frank-N-Furter, The Lord of Darkness in Legend (which is what lead to him being cast as the villain in Brutal Legend even though supposedly Tim Schafer originally wanted Ronnie James Dio to play the role), and Anatoly Cherdenko in Command and Conquer. Him playing a character who could be basically described as "Steve Irwin expect as a silly British man" is noticeably "against type."
